We are recreating the way we build our Showcase Home this year, thanks to the help of Hayden Homes and partners across the region! Formally known as the Project House, the goal for this home is to be 100% donated each and every year.
The 2019 home is being built in a Hayden Homes Community, Maple Meadows in Redmond, by Mike Arnett and Lifestyle Homes. We need your help to make this project a reality. We are seeking contributions of labor, materials and cash to build this home. Thank you to everyone who has already contributed this year.
(Check out all of our contributors below!)
If you are interested in being involved, please contact Karna at (541) 389-1058 or complete the Contribution Form below.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the construction so far. If you want to learn more about how to get involved, email Karna Gustafson(email@example.com).
The new quartz countertops and laminate vinyl plank flooring were installed on the main floor Monday. Appliances, lights, plumbing and HVAC fixtures, including the Rinnai tankless water heater, are all scheduled to but installed.
Last week the cabinets were installed. Interior walls and ceilings were primed and painted as was the exterior. As of today, the interior doors, baseboards and window trim has been installed, and the stair rail will be installed later in the week.
Cabinets were installed this week. Doors and millwork begin installation this Friday the 25th. Interior paint is scheduled to start May 2nd, and tile is scheduled to start May 10th.
We are currently in the middle of drywalling the house. The siding is on and complete. We have cabinet, door and millwork on deck, just waiting on the dry time for the drywall process.
Things are coming together both inside and out for this home! Plumbing, electrical and framing inspections have all been approved. Siding will begin tomorrow, insulation on Thursday, and Drywall on Monday!
With the snow starting to melt the home is starting to come together! Trusses are up, and plumbers will be finishing rough tomorrow. HVAC install starts on Friday and the electricians will be here on Monday.
The framers have been working through the snow, and the second floor is up! Trusses will be delivered today. Plumbing is planned to start on the 13th, HVAC on the 18th and electrical on the 21st
The heavy snowfall has delayed construction by about a week. Trusses should get delivered next week if all goes well with the weather. We are working on clearing the snow as much as possible so we can get back on track when the snow clears.
