PlayhousesCOBA members are very involved in the community. For several years, at the Spring Home & Garden ShowTM, our COBA Remodelers have built a playhouse to raffle off. Last year's winner is pictured to the left with his grandfather. The raffle from the 2007 playhouse raised money for Trillium Family Services.

Affordable HousingCOBA has strongly supported affordable housing and Habitat For Humanity. In 2007, several COBA builders and many members were involved. The first project in May was the Helping Hands house which netted a $100,000 donation to Habitat For Humanity from Palmer Homes. |

The second project in September 2007 was a coordinated effort between two COBA builders: Pahlisch Homes and Sage Builders. Along with their subs and suppliers two homes were built in "Blitz" fashion in about six hours. Right Click here todownload a time lapse view of the build. | ![]() |
Food DonationsAt most COBA events, attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to local food banks. The 2007 Spring Home & Garden ShowTM offered a discounted admission for a food item and the amount of food donated was nearly enough to fill up a 6x10 foot trailer. That food was donated to the Bethlehem Inn. Food from the 2008 home shows goes to NeighborImpact. |
