Remodelers Council ~ Join Today!
The COBA Remodelers Council exists to promote professionalism and high ethical standards, to provide service to its membership and to represent the remodeling industry before our community and government. The COBA Remodelers aims to highlight significant home renovations in the Central Oregon area, and to encourage consumers to envision remodeling possibilities in their own homes.
The COBA Remodelers produces the Annual Tour of Remodeled Homes(TM), a scattered site tour showcasing the work of COBA Remodelers, every third weekend in October. The COBA Remodelers host quarterly luncheon seminars that provide a forum for education, sharing ideas and networking, often with outside guest speakers. COBA Remodelers have their own section in Building Central Oregon, COBA's monthly newsletter, which features a spotlight on a remodeler member and articles particular to remodeling. The COBA Remodelers meet every first Wednesday of the month, from noon to 1 pm in the COBA Boardroom. To join, or for more information, contact Gretchen Palmer at (541) 389-1058 or gretchenp@coba.org.
With membership in the COBA Remodelers, companies are automatically made members of the National Association of Home Builders Remodelers Council (NAHBR). The NAHBR provides numerous resources for marketing, national recognition & awards, and several professional continued education designations, like the Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR), Certified Master Remodeler (CMR), Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) and Certified Green Professional (CGP).
