Membership and Public Relations Committee ~ Join Today!
Membership growth continues to be the top priority for the Central Oregon Builders Association, Building Green Council, High Desert Design Council, and Remodelers Council. The Membership & Retention Committee activities include inviting non-members to review our benefits and join, contacting first-year members to welcome them and encourage them to get involved, planning and implementing the annual Membership Drives, helping at membership events, and carrying out the Membership & Retention Plan adapted by the committee. Besides the networking opportunities, the committee offers an excellent avenue to advance and become a member of the Board of Directors.
The Public Relations Committee is designed to help market events brought to the monthly meeting by each council. The goal is to get the word out about each event/class/gathering through social and traditional media avenues. This is a brainstorming and implementing process that requires thinking outside the box and creativity. Some of the events we will be involved in marketing will be the Spring and Fall Home and Garden Shows, Tour of Homes, Ramp-A-Thon, Tour of Remodeled Homes, COBA Golf Classic, and our monthly General Membership Meetings.
