The Remodeler's Council of the Central Oregon Builders Association (COBA) is gearing up for the fourth annual Remodelers Ramp-a-thon. The event, which has become an annual affair, is designed to donate and provide access ramps to Central Oregon homeowners who need them.
The next Remodelers Ramp-a-thon is already scheduled for June 9, 2012! Homeowners in Central Oregon interested in applying for a ramp should contact Tim Knopp at 541-389-1058 or by email. The application (available through the link above left) will be evaluated by a committee for need as well as through an onsite inspection of candidate homes.
Ramp teams will be lead by COBA member Team Captains (all licensed contractors) who will manage the entire process of the build from fundraising to building of the ramp. Selected homes will have ramp needs not greater than 28” to conform to local building codes.
