COBA Newsletter
The COBA Newsletter "Building Central Oregon" is published on a monthly basis and distributed to COBA members.
This publication meets many of the information & advertising needs of our members. If you’re looking to reach the Central Oregon movers and shakers of the industry, then this is the key publication to place your advertising message!
Membership
Placing an ad in the COBA newspaper is a privilege available only to COBA members.
Inserts
8 1/2x11 inserts are not accepted.
Deadlines
Ad Reservations.....the 10th of the month prior to the next issue
Materials Due......the 15th of the month prior to the next issue
Distribution
Circulation varies with the size of our membership, but generally around 1,000 newsletters a month are printed. Generally, extra copies are printed for our signature events such as the Spring & Fall Home Shows, Tour of HomesTM, & Tour of Remodeled HomesTM, , as well as other events such as the annual Golf Classic
Rates
Rates vary by unit size, ranging from 2 to 20 units (full page). See the chart below for sample of ad sizes, specifications and rates. FULL COLOR for an additional $100 per insertion per month if paid monthly. An annual full color pre-paid commitment will only be charged a $500 color charge for the full year.
Prime Ad Areas
Prime Ad Areas such as the back page, first right-hand page or others are available on a first come, first served basis and sell quickly!
Delivery of your ad
Following is a brief overview of preparing and sending your digital files for publication. For more detailed information about acceptable electronic ad formats, preparation and delivery, please contact Nick Shein.
• Electronic (digital) files can be delivered by standard email or PC formatted CD.
• PDF format is preferred, or native files created with most layout software such as Adobe InDesign .
Be sure to include all fonts, photos and art.
Minimum dpi for photos is 300 dpi (85 lpi), 1200 dpi for line art. CMYK for color mixes rather than RGB. Black should be made from 100% black not a process black, black made from auto color, or black made from registration.
